This license applies to the original audio implementation in src/audio/, the
original renderer scripts/render-audio.mjs, the audio tests, and the synthesized
WAV files and their manifest.json in public/audio/. Those original sounds are
generated from algorithms (noise, envelopes, oscillators, grains and authored
reflection taps), including the finite, non-looping sizzle textures.

The three imported recordings lift1.mp3, burst1.mp3 and crackle-sm-1.mp3 are
NOT covered by this MIT notice. Their recording authorship and redistribution
clearance remain unresolved. See public/audio/recordings.json and
public/audio/NOTICE-recordings.txt for observed sources and rights status.
The simulator engine's software licence is not being asserted as a
recording-specific reuse grant.

Research quotations retain their respective source rights; citations are not
licensed audio or a claim of ownership.

The sounds are aesthetic simulations, not calibrated sound-pressure recordings.
A digital limiter is not a guarantee of safe acoustic exposure: use a comfortable
playback volume. There is no claim of human listening validation.
