Terms of Use
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These terms describe the conditions for using Hermes MyChart, a read-only MCP connector provided by Promethean Dynamic. Questions can be sent to chrism@promethean-dynamic.com.
Purpose and release status
Hermes MyChart is designed to retrieve and organize patient records you are authorized to access and make supported results available to Hermes. It is pre-release software. Live healthcare-provider access has not yet been validated, and Epic app registration is in progress.
Features, provider availability, and accessible record types may change. Access depends on the provider’s systems, supported interfaces, and permissions. Registration does not establish provider endorsement or guarantee a working connection.
Authorized use
Use the connector only for records you are legally authorized to access. This includes your own records and provider-authorized proxy or caregiver access. Where you act for someone else, you must have the necessary authority and use the access that the provider permits.
Do not use the connector to bypass access controls, retrieve another person’s records without authorization, interfere with provider systems, or use information unlawfully. Protect the computer on which it runs and restrict access to tokens, exports, and other health information.
Read-only access and record limitations
The connector does not write to your provider’s medical record, submit clinical orders, prescribe treatment, or communicate with your care team. Exporting information creates a separate copy; it does not update the source record.
Available results may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, or incorrectly interpreted. Missing results are not proof that information does not exist. Check dates, source documents, and your provider’s records before relying on an important detail. Contact your provider to obtain missing records or request a correction.
No medical advice or emergency service
The connector and any summaries generated through Hermes are information tools. They do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a clinician’s judgment. Do not start, stop, or change treatment based only on their output. Contact a qualified healthcare professional with medical questions and local emergency services for an emergency.
Privacy and connected services
Read the Privacy Notice before connecting records. The current connector stores authorization tokens locally in plaintext. Hermes may retain tool results and conversations, and requested medical information may be sent to the AI or model provider configured in Hermes.
Your provider, Hermes, your model provider, and any service you use to store or share exports have their own terms and privacy practices. These terms do not change those services’ obligations or grant permission to use them outside their rules.
Stopping use
You may stop using the connector and remove its locally saved authorization information. Also review connected-app access in your provider’s account settings and revoke the provider-side authorization if you want to withdraw that access. Removing local authorization alone does not establish that the provider-side grant has been revoked.
Exports, backups, Hermes history, and information retained by other services require separate deletion or retention controls. Removing the connector does not remove those copies.
Changes and contact
Changes to these terms will be published on this page with an updated date. Review the current terms before using a materially changed version of the connector. Questions about these terms or the product can be sent to chrism@promethean-dynamic.com.
